Ravi Kumar Best Table Topic Speaker: ACB ALB Azharuddin Khadri Secretary’s note:- I find it interesting as to how Toastmasters at Toastmasters Club of Pune find new and interesting ways to have fun. Take for instance, the Hurda party joint meeting-cum-picnic on 17th January. For those who don’t know, ‘hurda’ is the name given to tender Jowar - the main staple grain of rural Maharashtra, India. In early January, Jowar grain is juicy and very tender. Just the right time to be eaten roasted. Cakes of dried cow dung make for excellent roasting medium - slow and long lasting. Hurda is then served along with chutney (desiccated coconut garlic with dried red chilli). This is an experience every Maharashtrian looks forward to. Looking forward to the Chief Officers Training Program………..
