31.8: Maybe not much Lab in her?? She daintily avoided a puddle into which Tazza would have immediately flopped! Definitely not fixated on food either, but eating better since I bought a better quality of food which I’m mixing with the Lidl brand until it’s finished i.e. last two days she’s enjoyed breakfast [1/2 her daily allowance] after her first walk and the rest early eve. Miss Houdini strikes again. I drove to the local supermarket yesterday, pressed the gate closer as usual and drove off as they were shutting... Missy tends to whine when one or other of us goes outside [even to the garage], obviously still feeling insecure. Unbeknownst to me, she opened the front door, shot through the gates before they closed and fortunately only ran into the garden opposite as their gates were open, with Hugh in hot pursuit... once he’d put on his shoes, jacket and found an umbrella... Thank goodness she didn’t follow the car to the main road. Now we keep the front door locked! IF ANYONE READING THIS IS INTERESTED IN ADOPTING HER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. Arrangements can be made for transportation to UK, Belgian, Germany, Netherlands.... No new pics as a) it rained most of the day and b) too busy cleaning house in readiness for our visitors early eve. She’s been a bit nervous with Chris, sticking close to me.
