31 years and some nine months ago my parents committed the big bang; sometime soon after that on this day I opened my eyes to the world. Everyone that knows me knows that I have been through some deep trials, am going through some more trails and only god knows what trials I may have in the future. However, anyone that knows me also knows how much joy my small victories bring me. Today there won’t be a special celebration for my birthday because thanks to the people in my life I’ve been celebrating for the better part of almost a year now. And I have many people to thank for that. Starting especially with Pam, Naomi, Mom, my witch sisters –Keldya the flying witch and Kathleen the witch in training - I love you both, Dad and the rest of the Da Silva family for being there for me. I have the Volpi family, with a wonderful brother and nephews that I miss dearly. My brother Leo for you I have no words, language is too simple and we too complex. I have Sergio Correa who has been a permanent pillar for almost ten years now in my life, a friend, a mentor, a brother and most of all has been family to me. I have the Ray family who accepted me as one of their own from day one. I have the Williams family who believe in me and what I do even when I can’t see it. I have the Griswold family that continues to be great support. I have the Murphy family that fell out the sky and have just been a huge blessing in many ways. I have the Scroggins family that I miss dearly. I have the Hernandez family whom we miss dearly but are in our hearts all the time. I have the Costa family that’s been a part of the Da Silva family since 1991. I have the Santos family who has also been there since 91 as well. I have the Marra Senki JJ and Centurion JJ family that drive me to better myself every day. I have my Air Force - Safety family that pushes me to be better all the time. There are so many other people to thank for my birthday that I’m afraid the day will be done before I finish. Still, the biggest thing I’ve learned is that with the gift of having so many wonderful people in my life. There is nothing else I really need. Every day is my birthday because I always get to spend some time with the people I love doing the things we love.
