32 years ago, the Israeli army surrounded the Palestinian refugee camps called Sabra & Shatila. They got their ally, a fascist Lebanese militia, to enter the camps with knives and axes to begin systemically torturing and murdering thousands of Palestinian refugee men, women & children, while the Israelis dropped bombs on them and prevented them from leaving. The UN found that this was an act of genocide. And remember that these are desperately impoverished refugees which are there in the first place because they were expelled from their land/homes by Israel decades earlier and still have never been allowed to go home, thats how Israel was founded and what started the conflict, if you can call expelling an entire country of people from their land and then proceeding to slaughter and oppress them for 60 years a conflict.
