33 years ago, a young Las Vegas woman was kidnapped, raped, and murdered. It was the first murder I ever covered as a reporter and in the decades since, we have continued to follow it. One fact that was omitted from this magazine story about the case is that the murder trial of principal suspect Willie The Cannon Shannon, which was slated to begin this week, has been rescheduled yet again.
