3459. I am working as a janitor at an Irvine Apartment complex for the summer until school starts in the Fall, and let me tell you how disgusted I am with many people. I clean BBQ grills, bathrooms, mop floors, pick up dog poop, clean elevators, stand for several hours a day. I am underpaid, overqualified, and yet people find it amusing to harass the janitor. I have been told not to respond because the resident is always right. Also, just because I am wearing a uniform does not mean I only speak spanish, there have been residents who will ask me questions in choppy spanish! My point being, RESPECT the maintenance staff! Pick up your trash and place it in the proper designated containers, please and thank you.
