35 years ago today I was working in a logging crew getting ready For Hurricane Fredrick, will never forget sometime after midnight my Dad and I standing out on the carport and wind had settled down looking up to the sky and seeing stars and after just a few minutes could hear this horrific sound coming, it was the wind and rain again, we had just witnessed the eye of the storm, the southeast quadrant was coming with a vengeance and the damage is embedded in my mind forever.
