35 years ago today one of our closest loved ones Nicholas King was born but then tragically lost just over 10 years ago at the early age of 24. Anyone who knew him would vouch that, had he still been with us, he would have been destined for unpredictable yet big things. On his birthday today however, the people that I want to recognise the most are those that brought him into the world and gave us all the time that we had with him in the first place. I know that we are certainly not alone in our situation but no parent should ever go through what these people have and still do, never more so than on days like this. Mum & Dad you are heroes and a true inspiration, not just to me but to so many people around us. The strength, courage and resolution that you have shown to carry on where so many others would have given up never ceases to amaze me and yet you do it together and with so much positivity, love and encouragement that is infectious to all around you. You have and always will be the very best parents in the world and it is as much for this as anything that Nicholas will always be remembered and never forgotten. I know that in-between his birthday revelry Nicholas will be looking down on you with as much love and pride as I have to be able to call you his Mum & Dad.xx Caroline King Raymond King
