35 years ago today the thing that made Mike Milbury famous happened in a game in Madison Square Gardens. The Boston Bruins are playing the Rangers and one of the fans steals a Bruins players stick and apparently is swinging at them, the rest is history. You dont do that to the Big Bad Bruins. Terry OReilly climbs the glass and tackles the fan, other Bruins follow him, the normally mild-mannered Peter McNab and of course Milbury who famously grabbed one of the fans legs, took his shoe off and hit him a couple times with his own shoe!
