#358 To #353 It’s the quite the same issue with me honestly. The only thing different is that my dad isn’t perfect and still expects his children to be perfect. I honestly do not know how he expects my siblings and I to not make any mistakes and live without any regrets. A few years ago I chose a wrong guy which he warned me about and I didn’t listen. Now that I’ve gotten over him and realized that I should have listened to him that time… my dad keeps haunting me about the mistake I made, and keeps making me regret my choices I made back then. I just want to tell you that you’re not alone, because there are many people in this world who go through the same thing, and I completely feel you. All I can tell you is that sometimes people have such personalities which are almost impossible to change and I guess our dads are one of those few. I have tried talking to my dad a lot of times about this, but it hasn’t really worked for me. I advice you to go talk to him. Avoid starting an argument, tell him how you feel, and he might understand. Remember all you have to do is work hard and reach your goal and someday you can show the results off to him and he’d be speechless. Good luck.
