365/129 - Harbour at Port William. I frequently pass through Port William sometimes by design and sometimes on my way somewhere else, usually up the coast road to Auchenmalg and the A75 to take in the views. In late December 2013 the harbour at Port William took a battering from the winds off Luce Bay which reached 70-80mph overnight causing the loss of electricity for the day in Port William, a common issue in these parts. I went down specifically with my camera to get some shots like this because it was a pretty rare event to see the winds so fast. R&R Another bright day in Braehead so up for breakfast, down to the beach with the dogs and off to Newton Stewart for a few messages, only a few aches and pains to deal with so cant be bad. Back again tomorrow on Planet Paradise.
