365 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR AMERICA Day 217, June 14, 2013 If PRAYER can change me, PRAYER can change AMERICA!! COMMON SALVATION COMPLETED In our study on the Common Salvation, which was first delivered to the saints; I have introduced several words that describe GOD’S special plan of Salvation! Each word is an important ingredient or action, which comes by the HOLY SPIRIT!! The three major parts of the Common Salvation are: Justification, Sanctification and Glorification! In earlier devotions this past week I have defined Justification and Sanctification. Here is a special promise: “The SPIRIT HIMSELF bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of GOD: And if children, then heirs, heirs of GOD, and joint heirs with CHRIST, if so be that we suffer with HIM, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:16-18). We will be glorified together with CHRIST!! After HE rose from the dead, HE had a glorified body! Apostle Paul identifies this: “But some will say, How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come? … GOD gives it a body as it has pleased HIM, and to every seed his own body… So also is the resurrection from the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in “glory:” It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body… And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly… Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed!! For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality, … then shall be brought to pass this saying, Death is swallowed up in victory” (1 Corinthians 15:35-58 edited: trc…). Yes, we are going to have a glorified body! Glorification will happen at the rapture of the Church!! The Beloved Apostle John wants to tell us: “Behold what manner of love the FATHER has bestowed on us, that we should be called the sons of GOD: therefore, the world knows us not, because it knew HIM not. Beloved, now are we the sons of GOD, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when HE shall appear, we shall be like HIM; for we shall see HIM as HE is. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as HE is pure…” (1 John 3:1-3).
