365 Days... So yesterday was the first day of the year that Ive missed. Long driving day after spending a few in Madison and getting a taste of spring. Knew I was getting closer when I had to put my coat back on to gas up the truck and could see snow in the woods again. Really didnt believe it was going to stick today, so Im in denial and wont share any more snow pictures! For the next few days what I will share are the different changes the lake goes through as the ice goes out. We have a small open area on the beach that was shared by different ducks and a muskrat today. First hooded mergansers, then goldeneyes and then silly mallards that spent more time walking around on the ice than swimming. (Maybe not so silly)
