Nigeria has been so plagued with corrupt leaders and as such, our thinking has been so manipulated and destroyed so as not to see corruption as a poison to the development of this Nation. many of us dont know that in China, there is a capital punishment for anyone who steals public funds and they are strict about it, the consequences are Dire, no wonder their Economy is competing with the US in the global Market. especially the youth, we dont know that if not for mismanagement of our resources, we all would have had a better welfare package to sustain even the unemployed, since Nigeria is heavenly endowed with abundant Natural resources In oil and Agriculture. a president with the above records of turning a blind eye to massive corruption allegations, goes on campaign and insults our sensibilities that he does not believe people who stole public funds in the past should have been jailed for corruption, and we are here still supporting him, implying we have lost our rational sense of judgement as a people. if the major issues in this Elections are Insecurity, Corruption and a collapsing Economy, then the present occupants of Aso Rock should be voted out so as to hand over the mantle of leadership to someothers, who may have a different approach to our National challenges.
