37 Months Of Amosun in Ogun In the last 37 months, Amosuns government have being paid over N700billion on all allocations i.e IGR, State and LG allocations, ecological fund, subsidy fund, foreign aid. Security Trust Fund got N4.5billion too. During this period, ogun states debt portfolio is N290billion. If you add everything, Amosuns government have been operating with over N1trillion naira in the last 37 months. In 37 months, Amosuns Government have been able to start complete the following projects: 1. Totoro-Ita Eko road with a pedestrian bridge and a fly over totalling N3.8billion and a £1million pounds Pedestrian Bridge. 2. He paid the agricultural counterpart fund of N500million that made the purchase of the Agricultural equipment to be rented to the state farmers but no fertilisers purchased. 3. He paid the UBEC counterpart fund of N1billion that led to the FG renovating 1,200 schools in the state way back in 2011. None has been paid since then. 4. He paid just N31billion out of N320billion worth of awarded road contracts and we are left with N290billion debt to the contractors. 5. He was able to purchase and distribute education materials worth N1billion for the secondary schools students in September 2011. 6. He got the delivery of 500 electric transformers but they were supplied under the I Owe U agreement and till date, Amosun is yet to pay the supplier. 7. Hes been able to host Economic Summit twice with millions wasted. The latest of the wastage is $250,000 paid to the former Mexican President to come and give speech to our farmers on how to plant cassava and cocoyam. Please if you know of any other major achievements of Amosun in 37 months that can justify the over N1trillion this wasteful government has been playing with, you can list them here. P.S. Apart from just a single road completed and some township roads he reconstructed within Abeokuta only, all other major roads in Ijebu Ode, Sagamu and Ilo-Awela roads wont be completed until December 2016. Was Amosun so convinced hell be re-elected when he was awarding road contracts to be completed one and a half years after leaving office? And yet without paying the contractors?
