The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce are concerned about the labour shortage and today claim that 38,000 people are employed with URP up from 29,000 in 2008. In a time when we are told we must cut back by over a billion dollars. Does it not make sense ,starting in January that we start cutting the numbers of those working in URP and CEPEP and let them we absorbed by the private sector?
