38 The rest of the days went by, on friday morning I got a call from Neo telling me that Bandile has woke up, God is really great. Pity I had to go to school and Ill only see him around 3. I got off bed, excitement was all over my face. I was even singing while taking a shower. After showering I did the usual. I got to school and told my friends about the good news I woke up to. They were also happy. The bell rang and we went to our separate classes. I couldnt wait to see him, I couldnt wait for him to respond when I talk to him, I couldnt wait to see his smile, I couldnt wait, I just couldnt. The classes seemed long and boring. Break came and we chilled then ate and the classes continued, I couldnt even concentrate. My mind was at the hospital but the body was in class. That awkward moment when the teacher asks you a question and you heard nothing, you didnt even hear what the question was and what the answer is. Me : Maam? The class laughed, Nonkululeko laughed even harder, she was the only one who laughed louder. Maam : Get out of my class. Me : But- Maam : *shouts* I SAID GET OUT. I slowly got up and went straight to the door, I couldnt even look at everyone. Luckily it was the last period and it was 10 minutes left for afterschool. I went straight to the bathroom and stared myself at the mirror until it was afterschool. I went back to class to get my bag. I found Luzuko taking my bag. Luz : Was about to go out with it, thought Ill find you at the gate. Me : *smiles* Thats thoughtful of you, thanks. Luz : Youre worth every thought Me : *blushes* Luz : You blushing? Me : *laughs* Me? No nope. Luz : Where was your mind? Me : In class, hey I gotta bounce. We shared a hug. Luz : *blow kisses* Ill call you. Me : *smiles* Bye *waving* I got out of the class running, I had to quickly take a taxi to the hospital, I have already told my mom not to pick me up and Neo couldnt come. A taxi came and I got in and went straight to the hospital. I went straight to the ward Bandile was in but he was not there, I asked around and the doctor told me that he was transferred to the other ward. I got in and found him lying on his back with his eyes closed, the bandages were still in his head but they were lighter than the previous week, he was only left with one drip, his left leg was no longer lifted up. He was breathing on his own. I slowly walked towards him. I placed a light perk on his lips and looked at him as he opened his eyes. #Aneh
