3DA Systems l Making 3D for PDF Easier CGS Civil 3D Tools 2015 for AutoCAD Civil 3D users CGS Civil 3D Tools is designed to improve (and enhance) both the functionality, and usability of AutoCAD Civil 3D, thus making for more efficient project design. Sounds good, right? Well, as much as we can vouch for the features of our product, we also recognize that additions and/or updates need to be made in order to ensure that CGS Civil 3D Tools i adding value to your design process. Given this, here’s a sampling of some of the new tools we’ve added to the 2015 version: Pipe Depth Report – This calculates pipe depths for selected Civil 3D profiles and then creates a summary report. Pipe depths can be set at different intervals; and depths can also be calculated from the bottom, invert, center, crown or top of the pipe. Grading – This tool allows you to create 3D projection polylines from any polyline or feature line; and enables you to verify different designs by changing grading criteria and/or footprints. In short, this will help you design complex 3D objects and tasks, like road or railway embankments, intersections, road islands, sidewalks, and more. CGS Revit Tools 2015 for Autodesk Revit users The 2015 version of CGS Revit Tools also offers some new features, all of which are sure to improve and enhance the functionality and usability of anyone using Autodesk Revit Architecture, Structure and/or MEP as a part of their project design efforts. With this in-mind, here’s a quick look at a few of the new tools we’ve added: Project Cleanup – This allows you to selectively delete line styles, rooms, spaces, view, etc. from the project. Create Assembly – With this you can automatically create assemblies from selected instances, like Structural Column, Structural Foundation, Generic Model, Curtain Panel, and more. You can also create views and place them on the sheets according to your settings. Renumbering – This allows you to manually or automatically renumber things in your project design by room, mark parameter, grid and/or room, space, or area.
