3rd Day of the Fasting of Daniel Immediate Answer The greatest way to honor someone you love is by offering your whole life, forever to that person: a marriage. The Lord Jesus did that on the cross. He gave, up to the last drop of His blood, for those who honor Him. He surrendered Himself 2 thousand years ago and He keeps on surrendering Himself for us nowadays through His Spirit. The marriage with Him requires the same total surrender of those who believe in Him. Theoretically, this happens all the time in Christian churches. They accept Jesus, promising love and dedication before the Altar and even are baptized in water, but... Outside of the church, in fact, are lovers of this world. When the person truly honors Him, then He will honor that person in the same measure with the seal of the Holy Spirit. If the surrender is sincere and complete, then the baptism with the Holy Spirit happens immediately. It does not depend on a fasting or anything else... ... those who honor Me I will honor... 1 Samuel 2:30 The answer is immediate. But most Christians have not seen His Greatness in their lives. Why? ... those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed. 1 Samuel 2:30 These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. (Matthew 15:8, Mark 7:6) On the other hand, those who sacrifice loved ones, family, relatives, worldly friendships, the world and, above all, their own life for the Lord Jesus, the promise is that He will show Himself Almighty. For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him... 2 Chronicles 16:9
