3rd letter from Connor Henry You know, after two weeks of not - TopicsExpress

3rd letter from Connor Henry You know, after two weeks of not having ANY free time, once you get it, you dont know what to do with yourself.haha. At home on Sundays, I would wake up with nothing to do until I went to church. Ironically, Its the same thing here, even at BMT. We get woken up at 545, and we get ourselves ready for the day, and then...nothing. No MTI, no schedule, nothing. haha. People leave when its time for their church, and then come back. Other than that, were sitting here writing letters, cleaning, etc. throughout the dorm. Its very relaxing. The first time weve been able to relax since we got here as a matter of fact. Here, every Sunday is Grilled Cheese and Jesus as the older trainees called it. haha. So the flight is very anxious for lunch of course. As I said in my other letter, I am the Dorm Chief of my flight. Overall, not a bad job, just stressful. That being said, theres one MTI here (the one who sounds like Kronk from :emperors New Groove) who for some reason HATES dorm chiefs in general. Hes constantly tryingto/threatening to fire me, or worse, recycle me. (Recycling is when a trainee is pushed back in time, like a 3rd week trainee gets pushed back to a 1st week) So when hes around...its miserable for me...haha. Luckily, hes not around that often :P My flight is a bunch of nice guys for the most part, but boy, they are not the brightest bunch. haha. Well receive instructions from our MTI, and once he says Go I instantly get asked So what are we doing? like 1,000 times. Drives me nuts! Ive finally started just asking them You were standing right next to me werent you?! You heard everything I heard! its ridiculous! :P haha. As always, I love and miss all of you! And, I look forward to hearing from you! -Connor AB Henry Connor E 323 TRS/FLT159 (Dorm 2D1) 1320 Truemper St Unit 369525 Lackland AFB, TX 78236-6407
