4/17/14 Tracking Trinity Pines with Marilyn Lohman It was really quiet in the Library, Monday, a week ago when Conn. played KY. No one was watching the big TV, although some saw the game in their apartments. We, nevertheless, were happy with the outcome. Here’s a short story on how we watch out for each other at The Pines. A bag of groceries containing meat, cream, milk, etc. was outside the elevator when Philip called me to help him locate the owner. We loudly knocked on a few doors when a kindly little old lady said they were hers. It was too heavy to carry along with her other bag and she planned to return to get it. Well, she made a phone call in the interim and talked quite awhile, thus, they were left sitting there. Hopefully by now we have the boxes needed for our TVs, from Charter, and it is all straightened out. Seems different answers were received when Charter was called and no one knew what was really going on. Last Friday, some of the gals got together to make some really cute shaped eggs of various colors consisting of balloons and twine. Now, these weren’t small, but something you could hang up as decoration. Very different and unique. Each day until Easter, plastic eggs are hidden in the common areas for people to find. They turn them in with their name and after Easter a prize will be given to the person who found the most.
