4:25pm. All of us (Philip included) managed some sleep last night although most of us broken sleep for various reasons. A lower risk day in our area today. Have all been busy doing temporary fence repairs, mowing, putting out hot spots And of course mum has been keeping us fed and watered in between fetching things we need and chasing cows etc. Brooke will tell you hay burns for a looooong time!!) had a few visitors checking on us. Just saw Philip for 2 minutes hes running on adrenaline but doing ok. Hes much more frantic than us trying to manage the gumeracha area getting crews out wherever there are flare ups. At some point tonight Brooke and I will head back to murray bridge but I will be returning first thing in the morning to stay a few nights as there are 2 or 3 days of hotter/thunderstorms/wind weather which may happen and is concerning but at least it looks like a cool change and rain Friday. Thanks everyone for you messages. We are fine but busy, still no landline phone but probably too busy to want to be on the phone anyway. Over and out. :-)
