4/5 SURF/BOAT Water temp this morning is 42.8. Not too much word off the beaches but there are short stripers being caught on clams and bloodworms. Most of these bass are in the 14 to 24 inch range. Yes, they are most likely resident stripers that hang out all year. I have heard that VA. has got good sized striper being caught so it looks like they could be on the way. We do need a bit more water temp I would think for the bigger bass to start showing up, but hey you never know and you will never catch one sitting on that couch. Didnt hear of any party boats sailing yesterday because of the weather, but the weekend is looking good for both surf fishing and getting on that party boat.
