4:54 in the morning here in Sandy Hook...birds are tweeting away and I continue my search for a forever home for the 26 engraved granite benches. Somehow, I did not see this article in the local newspaper until now...probably just as well, because several phrases ruffled my tail feathers a might. case in point: Determination overrode practicality Determination...you betcha....but more like complacency on the part of the town. To be contacted in January with open arms and when completed in early March the snubbing began>>enter Pete and myself. I viewed her last night just as the solar lights began to glow. It was almost as if she was saying hello friend. I know I am preaching to the choir here but she is far more than an impractical block of stone...she is beautiful and she is alive!!!
