4 December 2014 The doors of the E-church will open at 11:25 am CST Sunday Sermon Message: A Change is Coming Pt I Isaiah 9:1-7 Concerning the subject of Change - Change isnt a random act…it is caused by a catalyst of provocation. In other words when it comes to change there is something beyond us that is the agent which brings change about - in, through, to and for us. That is why unless one is prompted or provoked to change – one will not change. You may think its you that made you change – but its not. Now when true change occurs– one’s previous state must give way to the becoming state or one’s [then] present condition – until the need for change arises again. The Holy Spirit led me to a great illustration and instance in the bible where God through The Prophet Isaiah informed us of a coming change. The bible is explicit in stating that this change will be done by God in a special way – a way man cannot do. Isaiah 9:7c KJV says that - The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:7c NLT says that - The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen! In light of the passion and commitment of scripture there is one thing of many we can know for sure – That God’s will, will perform and make happen what he purposes it to do. Why do I bring that up – just a reminder of the reason for this season. God in Genesis 3:15 initiated through prophesy a change that was sure to come.
