4. Idlewild - In Remore Part / Scottish Fiction - Old Bridge Inn, Aviemore For anyone who was lucky enough to catch Idlewild on their acoustic tour last year this song needs no further explanation. Likewise, if youre an Idlewild fan, you know how it goes and, especially, how it feels. This song is invasive. It starts out so gently that you dont even notice it getting under your skin. Before you can realise whats happened your body is throbbing as it pulsates unstoppably through your system; your skin turns a clear blue and your hair wild, with a shock of bright copper; at last your heart, swollen and heavy with romance, longs for wild places, for incredible people with mundane stories. In effect you become Scottish. In the best way possible.
