Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work orders and material, cleaning and packing component, conducting vacuum bake outs, and conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates. The role of the expediter requires the ability to remain organized and on top of scheduled shipments and production goals. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Work closely with planning and production control to manage the flow of all the material for each production job. 2. Coordinate and move the flow of material from incoming inspection to the production floor 3. Proactively expedite work order transitions between departments 4. Ensure documentation is complete and maintained on all work orders on production floor. 5. Clean and pack parts for transportation. 6. Laser mark components. 7. Take photos of component. 8. Conduct thermal and vacuum bake out of production parts. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: 1. Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes. 2. PC literate, (word, excel.) 3. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or phlebotomy training preferred. Documented satisfactory performance as Collections Technician I or the equivalent experience is required. Customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills are required. A current valid drivers license and good driving record is required.
