4 weeks till Baby is due and Im having nightmares because we havent chosen a boy name - literally - Ive done it with EACH child. Weve had our girl name picked for months. Boy names always illude us. Heres our list of qualifications: - Cant start with J ( Cara is animately against the potential nickname J.J.). - Cannot be shortened to any nickname of which we dont approve - Biblical is good, but not necessary. - Has to go with pre-chosen middle name - Kelly. - Cannot be too common - like not on the Top 50 list of most popular names (I love my name, but I didnt like being one of 5 Matthews in my 2nd Grade class) - But it has to be familiar enough that people will recognize it and be able to pronounce it - it cant be too out there - Zechariah is about as far out as we were willing to go. - Etymology counts - I can tell you the meaning of each of my childrens names and how they reflect their Christian faith. - I will probably approve 90% of your suggestions. Cara will probably approve -90% of your suggestions. - Its probably just easier to pray for a girl. Now GO!!! :-D
