4 year old Cinnamon and her little Chi housemate, Lola-A0974862, - TopicsExpress

4 year old Cinnamon and her little Chi housemate, Lola-A0974862, were surrendered to Brooklyn ACC by the only family they’ve ever known. Now Cinnamon sits in a cage, all by herself, grieving over the loss of her family, her home, and her best buddy. Her initial physical showed her to be in good health though she’s already caught the dreaded shelter “cold”. Cinnamon was a little nervous when 2 days after she got there, she was walked into a strange room by a stranger who started squeezing her paws, tried to play tag, gave her food and toys they tried to take away and brought a strange dog in the room. But all in all, though she didn’t particularly like the squeeze and wasn’t particularly interested in the food, she did fine when that strange dog came into the room. Maybe she thought she’d found a new buddy? Beautiful Cinnamon is trying so very hard to be the good girl she really is. According to her family, she’s housetrained, lived with children, knows commands. But being gorgeous and scared and just a great dog is not enough and Cinnamon is on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. In a perfect world, Cinnamon would find a new family that would also take little Lola (who the owners said they “compliment each other”), but right now the emphasis has got to be on Cinnamon. At 4 years old, she’s outgrown all those puppy things and is ready to take on new adventures. Can you see this striking girl at your side for long walks, sitting in the living room, and just being a great companion? If you do, speak up right now to foster or adopt Cinnamon. But do it right now—tomorrow, she’ll go down that hall and she’ll really have lost everything and everyone!
