4 years ago when the Big 3 was formed and Melo came to NY I told anyone who would listen that this was the way the league was heading. More players would leave via free agency, more guys would try and team up, and the new cap would permit all of this to happen. Everyone told me I was a dummy... since then, the #1 ranked PG (CP3) tried to go to team up with Kobe and then teamed up with Blake in LA, the #1 Center in the league (Howard) moved TWICE, both times eager to team up with ANYONE (1st Kobe, Pau and Nash & then with Harden in Houston), probably a top 3 SG in Harden leaving OKC for Houston, lots of middle of the pack quality players moving teams like crazy for more duckets (Rudy Gay, Paul Pierce, Tyreke Evans, etc)and now the craziness that is Melo, Bron, Bosh and Wade being free agents together. Not to mention next years crop of Free Agents to be like Love, Rondo, Demarcus Cousins who are likely to leave. Its a crazy carousel... but it is the way it is now with the contracts the way they are.... get used to it people, its the way the NBA is!!! Thoughts guys?
