Keith encounters Diana who wears the Bluelite gem necklace, and she reveals the secret. Excerpt 26: Keith eyes were chained upon Reta’s helpless, writhing body. “Don’t be frightened, Keith. It’s the exchange.” “The exchange…” he could only echo her words. “Where one gives one’s life, out of incalculable love, for another.” “You mean…” and he swallowed hard… “Reta?” Diana directed his eyes. “Yes, watch. Her love is that great, Keith.” Keith’s heart exploded like a galactic shower.
