40 Days of Passion This song has become my life song. What is the Greatest Commandment according to Yeshua (Jesus)? It is -- Matthew 22:36 Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Torah? 37 And He said to him, You shall love ADONAI your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind . 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself . 40 The entire Torah and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. (Tree of Life Version) This is nothing new. He is saying that the greatest commandment is what our Jewish brothers and sisters have always considered the cornerstone commandment. Deuteronomy 6:4 Shema Israel, ADONAI Eloheinu, ADONAI Echad Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one . 5 Love ADONAI your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength . 6 These words, which I am commanding you today, are to be on your heart. (TLV) Why are we here? 1) To relate to God. 2) To open the avenue for others to relate to God. You CAN NOT have one without the other. I drank the cheap wine that the broken world has to offer. I got caught up in religion and the pride of and approval of humanity. No more. Never again. I want to live for the will of God and guide others to do the same. Get rid of timidity and put on humility, love, and truth which lead to the most humble and effective boldness to combat the world and lead others to relate to their King and the Lover of their soul.
