41 It was a sunday, I woke up very early and took a bath and got ready for church. After taking a bath ndanxiba long skirt, shirt ne pump then combed my hair straight. Why didnt this woman tell me earlier, Im already busy and I was looking foward to spend the rest of my day with my family, Sunday is a family day afterall. Bandiles Ma : Usekhona? Me : Ewe ndisekhona ma, Ill come. Bandiles Ma : Sale kahle. Me : Bye. I hung up the phone. I never went to Bandiles home alone and I dont know what to expect, his younger sister is always on my nerves and without him besides me to cool me down, I swear imma slap her if shes too foward towards mna. I changed to a dress and platform, Lonwabo offered to take me there. Trully speaking I just wished I had a license so I could travel alone in and out of town. Im no longer young to be drove around. I took my side bag, phone and jacket and went out. I found Lonwabo waiting for me in the car. Lon : Aint you nervous? Lon : *laughs* Thats means your heart will jump out when you arrive there. Me : *fakes smile* Dont be silly. But atleast Ill see my daugher. We got to Bandiles home and Lonwabo dropped me next to the gate. Lon : Make sure you hold your heart before it jumps out. I hit him on the shoulder playfully and got off. I looked in on the window. Me : Ill call you to come pick me up. Lon : I hope shit wont get real. Arg Lonwabo is just making me more nervous. Me : *laughs* Sharp. I slowly opened the gate and got in. I walked toward the door and when I was about to knock, Nosiphiwo opened and welcomed me with a warm hug, oh so these people saw every move I made outside? Silent stalkers :v Mhmm. We got in. Me : Good Afternoon endlini. I looked around and everyone was there, Bandiles mom, his sisters and twin brothers. But his dad was not around, that everyone is crushed out. Cikizwa rolled her eyes, this girl has issues. She just reminded me of Esihle, this is how she sometimes gets when shes moody. His Mom : Molo mntanam unjani? Me : Ndiyaphila ma kunjani kuni? His Mom : Siphilile nathi, thanks for coming. By that time I was sitting on the couch straight to where Cikizwa was sitting. I couldnt spot my daugher even her shadow :v. Bendimkhumbule nyani. Nosiphiwo gave me coke, it was the same coke that I dont drink. I didnt wanna seem rude or ungratefull, one glass wont hurt. I sipped it slowly as Bandiles mom was talking. His Mom : I know youre busy wondering why I called you here. Me : Ewe mama. The suspense is killing. Cikizwa : Mxelele mama, she doesnt have the whole day. She then laughed, ewe bendingana langa lonke kodwa there was nothing fun in that. His Mom : Cikizwa! Cikizwa : Sorry mom. His Mom : Lets go sit in my room mntanam. This made me more nervous, why she wanted us to talk in private? Was it something Bandiles siblings didnt know about? I followed her, she made me sit on the couch while she sat on the bed. I was shy, I never had a serious conversation with Bandiles mom and I was never alone around her. I was looking down the whole time, I was waiting for her to start talking. His Mom : Anele Me : Ma? His Mom : Ndiyaz ukba uyamthanda uBandile and naye uyakuthanda kakhulu but love is about sacrifises and compromises. What was this woman talking about? Where is this conversation going exatly? Me : Ewe inyani leyo mama. His Mom : Mna bendicinga ukba uze uzohlala apha when Bandile comes home. Me : Kodwa ndineskolo mama. His Mom : Ewe ndiyakwaz lokho Anele but you have to sacrifise this just for him, hell recover faster when youre around him. Im not even asked whether I agree or disagree. Me : Ndizothetha nomama. His Mom : I hope your mom will also agree with me. After having the conversation we went to the dining room, the table was set. We ate then after eating desert was served. I help Cikizwa and Nosiphiwo to clear the table. After doing everything I called Lonwabo to come pick me up. I had no chance to bond with my daughter :( Lonwabo arrived, I said my goodbyes. His Mom : Think about it. I nodded and we drove off. #Aneh
