42-41591703 20 Dec 2012, Port McNeill, British Columbia, Canada --- The town of Port McNeill, which is part of British Columbia The Forest Capital of Canada, has one of the worst official town Christmas Trees ever seen! The droopy looking tree in the small town center has the Christmas lights hanging off one of the branches and even looked bare from the top to the bottom. One branch was even twisted backwards looking miserable as the town members passed by in their cars. Port McNeill is a town in the North Island region of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada with a population of 2,623 which still produces most of the BC-grown Christmas trees. In 2011, Canadian farms overall shipped 1.73 million Christmas Trees to the value of $28-million to countries including Japan, the Netherlands, Thailand, Venezuela and a host of countries in the Caribbean, according to numbers compiled by Statscans international trade division.
