42 years ago today, November 8th 1971, Led Zeppelin released their fourth album, which officially featured no title on the cover, but is commonly known as Led Zeppelin IV. The album featured two singles; Black Dog peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 U.S. charts, while Rock and Roll made it to #47. Their classic song Stairway to Heaven was on the album, but was never released as a single and thus could not chart.
