#423 was sailing as cadet on this ship ..we were at Egypt port el dekheila . we had a week of port stay and master arranged for a trip to the pyramids and the crew thanked the master for arranging for the trip through the agent. in return we all worked hard and forecastle deck aur hatch covers ko ek dham chamka diya... looked dam nice...newly painted vsl jaisa...then came the suez transit...and when we reached sudan the Red colour( forecastle deck /forward part of the ship where the anchor and winches are .) Deck turned into white :-O i saw chief officer taking photos the previous day and was really happy..it all was white...there are Giant Birds that shit like no other birds on this planet ...remember when u are a chief mate or captain make sure u paint ur deck or any part that is open .only after u pass the gulf and clear Suez...the chief officer and bosun were really sad ...and to take out all that shit is not easy by washing down...thick shit ..salla scrapper se kaam karna pada .fevicol jaisa hi hai :-( - RMR ADMIN: Shit happens..:p
