#4465 First off, let me admit that NMSU has, as far as colleges of its size goes, A decently priced parking system. Its not free, but trust me, there are worse places. However, one of the things that really pisses me off is the fact they enforce it in the summer. I mean, Keeping non-permit vehicles out of a lot that fills quick so people with permits can park is one thing, but when bascially all the lots stay below 75% capacity in the summer, why the bother? Especially the lots with maybe ten vehicles throughout the day. At this point it really seems like its purely for profit. Why boot the one guy out of ten in a 100 car space thats been empty all summer? I don know how much discretion the ticket guys have, but come on.
