45 years ago this very morning, yes it was a Wednesday, I was fixing to take the greatest ride of my life..18 years old..and so young, not thinking about the future just thinking of that moment..marrying someone I barely knew, met July 4th, 1969, married September 24th, 1969..all I knew was that I loved this person and believed God had put us together..We had been through so much leading up to this trying to find some place to get married because he had been drafted and everyone wanted us to wait till he got back from the Army..We was not going to do that so we talked my dad into signing for me, he was old enough, but I wasnt..So we take off to Ringgold Ga. and said our I dos in that little court house and started our journey together that has lasted 45 years..That some said would not last a year or even a month..But here we are after all this time together, loving God and loving each other and loving our kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren..What a time it has been with the best friend I ever had..I love you with all my heart, soul and being Michael Thomas Young..God surely did put us together..
