46 years ago, at 5:30 in the afternoon, I arrived, pink and perfect, into the lives of the most wonderful family that a baby could ever have! I had a childhood most people would envy with a loving and nurturing mother who stayed home with us, giving up a career as a model and pin up girl to take care of us. We had a father who worked very hard (and still does) and was our moral compass who provided us with everything we needed in life. I grew up alongside three siblings who played with me, danced and sang with me and have been incredible companions on this journey. Even though we never had a dog, I know every day that I hit the lottery with these McNeelys and am grateful to God that they, and their families, are people I get to love every day. So glad to be here to celebrate my birthday with them and the fact that I am the luckiest girl in the world!
