47. Was Jung simply being ‘crafty’ and tricky when—under the pretext of adhering to ‘empirical methods’—he attempted to pass of his psychology as ‘scientific’? It is my view that ‘science’ would have to undergo some fairly radical retooling and redefinition before Jung’s work could be squared with it (especially the part about repeatable experiments), or he would have to concede that what he was doing was more an ‘art’ (or technē) than a science (episteme).
