4May2014. Pak Chom-Si Chiang Mai. I didnt make it. Todays intended ride was at a distance of 95km to Si Chiang Mai. The ride was good with awesome view of the Mekong on my left. Few hills to kill made the ride more exciting. Passed many fields of lychees, banana and even some tamarind. I went a bit of detour closer to the river to see what village life is like. Long tail sampan and some living quarters. However There was too many stops, so much to see and photo opportunities that literally made me even lazier to carry on pedalling. After 65km I came to Sang Khom and a 7e was onsight. Bought myself some food, stirr fried prawns with basil leaf and had a cool lunch at a hut on the Mekong. By 1pm it has become too hot, and checked the Gps for accomodation. There are many resorts along this road and I picked one. A rustic bungalow with a porch facing the Mekong. Air conditioned for 250bh..
