4th Annual New England Kung Fu - Wushu Championship Saturday, October 11, 2014 Dear Friends, This years 4th Annual New England Chinese Martial Arts Championship will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Fore Kicks Sports Complex in Marlborough, MA. This new venue offers ample free parking and a much larger competition area to accommodate the growth we have experienced over the last few years. The venue is also located near the official tournament hotel and there are lots of restaurants in the vicinity. The New England tournament is an important stop on the ICMAC circuit and the move to the new venue will better serve the growing number of competitors as well as allow for expanded divisions. Marlborough, is less than 30 minutes from Boston and is ideally situated for many other major cities: It is less than 1 hour from Providence, RI and only 1 hour and 30 minutes from Hartford, CT; a 3 hour and 30 minute drive from New York City and Bangor, Maine; less than 5 hours from Philadelphia and Montreal; and little over six hours from Baltimore and the great Washington, D.C. area. This year we will be offering more than 300 Divisions to accommodate all skill levels and age groups in the following categories: Traditional Kung Fu Contemporary Wushu Tai Chi Xing Yi and Bagua Wing Chun Sparring Push Hands Chi Sao And much more..... This tournament will also be the ICMAC Northeast Regional Championship and award extra points to all competitors towards the Top Ten Rating and National Titles. Invitation packets will be going out at the beginning of May but you will be able to register online or mail in your registration forms.
