4th July 2013 Dear Sir/Madam: Invitation to the Press Launch of Ghana: The Election Petition: Restoring Justice and Democracy for Peace We invite you to join us at the launching of the book Ghana: The Election Petition: Restoring Justice and Democracy for Peace, a compilation of articles edited by Ken Ofori- Atta, William Oppong Bio, Boakye Agyarko andKwasi Busia. This book is a 200 page comprehensive compilation of documents, articles and pictures describing the issues leading to and surrounding the Petition sanctioned by the National Executive Committee of the New Patriotic Party with Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Bawumia and Jake Obetsebi Lamptey as the Petitioners. It seeks to inform the Ghanaian public, the international community and all stakeholders of the allegations of constitutional and statutory violations, irregularities and malpractices in the conduct of the 2012 elections. The Launch, will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 6pm at the British Council, No. 11 Liberia Road, opposite Cedi House. This book will be a landmark in the spirit of the “Stolen Verdict” published by Nana Akufo- Addo et al after the 1992 elections. We count on your support.
