5.0 out of 5 stars I absolutely loved it. I gave it 5 stars but I wish I could give it six stars. January 18, 2015 By Dan Alatorre Verified Purchase Reading this book was a treat. Gedall has a gift. I downloaded it with the intention of reading it later, glanced at a few pages, was completely sucked in, and read the whole thing cover to cover in one sitting. Its that good. The opening grabbed my attention and the introduction of the characters was so light and quick, I felt like I knew them and that their history wasnt important but still I knew it. I almost set it down but thats when I just had to keep on reading. The storytelling style at work here is one of a master. It doesnt get bogged down in detail unless detail is required. Instead it is a poetry or prose, like a picture painted with just enough richness. You turn each page wanting more. I said reading it was a gift! As a fellow author I am at a loss to describe it adequately. Nonetheless, the young boy in the book explains his story and we the reader are along for a sweet, innocent ride, ending in loss and despair (more than once) along a path that I hope ends in enlightenment. From the narration style, I feel that it does. Beautiful and eloquent, this book is a keeper. I absolutely loved it. I gave it 5 stars but I wish I could give it six stars.
