5.0 star rating 3/7/2014 I took my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis with a bad shudder in 4rth gear to AAMCO around the corner from these guys. AAMCO said my torque converter was bad and that there was metal in my pan, $2300. I take it to Best Buy Transmissions, Eric tests my car and also pointed out that the filter was laying in the bottom of the pan (so either AAMCO lied about checking the pan 2 days prior or they just left it like that) and decides it needs a fluid change, filter and some additive, $220. The car drives perfectly. I cant speak any more highly of this mechanic, he shoots you straight and will save you, at least in my case, thousands of dollars.
