5:45 PM UPDATE: As of now a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH has been issued for Bryan and Marshall counties in Southeastern Oklahoma. This watch goes until 11:00PM CDT. With any Severe thunderstorm in this vicinity we run the risk of Damaging Winds in Excess of 70 MPH and Large hail in excess of 2 inches in diameter. The Tornado threat is very low. My personal feelings is that the worst of the weather will be to your south and east but it will definitely be monitored. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH has been issued for Southwestern Nebraska including the cities of Sidney, Harrisburg and Kimball. As with the watch for Southeastern Oklahoma the tornado threat is very low, but could see Damaging winds in Excess of 70MPH and large hail in excess of 2 inches in Diameter. I believe at this point the biggest threat is from Hail not wind but we will monitor the situation. This watch goes until 10PM MDT. As of right now radar is show a developing area of strong thunderstorms just to the North and West of Bryan and Marshall counties in Oklahoma. this is moving through and will do so completely over the next 45 minutes. These seem to be in a weaken phase at this point but more storms look to be in the embryonic stage behind this area. As far as Nebraska goes there is currently no signs of development but it has begun to your West in Colorado so we will monitor for signs of development as the activity moves off to the southeast.
