5 CANS OF FOOD OUTREACH!!! Good morning to all, We service about 33 families this week in our pantry and we are seriously low on food. I am working with some contacts. With the holiday weekend coming many are not available until next week. Our food pantry is the most promising ministry we currently have. Besides helping many families in our community, we have reached some great people like Katrina Khuns, Keith and others. Last evening we had an four neighbors come into our Wed. night meeting, just to see what it was all about. These neighbors are from Iran and they will hopefully start attending our church. They came through the Food Pantry. I (Pastor Diane) am also reaching out to some of the neighborhood children on Wed. evenings. I look to start a homework help program in Sept from 6pm- 7pm on Wed evenings- If any of you are interested in helping for 1 hr. I say all this to enlist your help. Could each of you bring 5 cans of non-perishable food to church this Sunday? We need - no salt or very low-salt items (canned soups, veggies (other than carrots), coffee, pasta, rice etc). Remember to buy NO or LOW SALT. Thank you sooo much for you help!!!
