Tea Esophageal Cancer Study Esophagus is a canal that links oral cavity to stomach. And very hot tea is when drunk, this canal could be damged resulting into a very dangerous disease known as esophageal cancer. Studies have shown this and it’s concluded that warm tea is better than very hot tea intake. So, after making tea, one should wait till 2-4 minutes to let the temperature of tea be decreased and then it should be drunk otherwise the risk of esophageal cancer might be increased. Besides, tannins present in tea are harmful for esophagus leading towards the esophageal cancer. 10. Tea Stains Teeth Tea is considered to be harmful for teeth and gums’ health because the plaques are accumulated on the surface of teeth when persons are habitual drink it frequently. And if hot tea is drunk, the gums might be at risk according to researches. So one should have to limit the tea intake and avoid the hot tea to prevent this issue. Concludingly, as there are countless benefits and good effects of tea on health, at the same time there are also some side effects or bad effects! But you can prevent these bad effects by drinking tea carefully as by taking it warm instead of hot; by preferring hand-picked tea instead of machine- processed tea; and by limiting the tea intake instead of consuming very large quantities.
