5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all freely, willingly; and will be granted. 6 Ask her, however, in faith, without doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that person who will receive any thing of the Lord, 8 it has divided mind and is unstable in all he does. 9 The brother in humble circumstances ought to be proud when you are in a high position. 10 But the rich should take pride event pass to live in humble circumstances, because the rich will like the flower of the field. 11 For the sun rises, brings warmth and dry the plant; then its flower falls away, and its beauty is destroyed. Likewise the rich wither amid their chores. 12 Happy is the man who perseveres under trial, because when approved will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. 13 When tempted, no one should say: I am being tempted by God. For God can not be tempted by evil, tempts no one. 14 But every man is tempted by own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15 And this desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin, after being finished, bringeth forth death. 16 My beloved brothers, do not be fooled. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 By its decision begat he us with the word of truth, so be as the firstfruits of all he created. Doers of the word 19 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore, to free themselves from all moral impurity and wickedness prevails and humbly accept the word implanted in you, which is able to save them. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 He who hears the word, but does not put it into practice is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks. 25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this bill, not forgetting what he has heard but practicing it, will be blessed in what he does. 26 If anyone considers religious but does not bridle his tongue, he deceives himself. His religion is worthless! 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself polluted by the world.
