5 October 2013 Barbara Boyd USAF (ret) 21 yrs Homeland Security 9 yrs It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you of the loss of an American Hero. The family of Barbara Boyd USAF (ret) 21 years, Dept. of Homeland Security the past 9 years, has asked the Patriot Guard to stand a silent flag line for this Hero. Barbara Boyd continued to serve our great country after serving 21 years in the US Air Force. Her legacy has carried to her family where several members including her daughter has served our Great Nation. This Hero has stood for us to enjoy our freedom and way of life. It is now time for us to stand for her.
